Can't see yours? Ask us

What does "connecting my domain" actually involve?

Your domain has a few settings (called DNS) that tell the internet where your website lives. We update those for you so your address shows your new site. Just tell us whether you manage your own domain settings, and whether you know how to change them. Either way, we'll walk you through it step by step.

What's SSL? Do I need it?

SSL is what puts the padlock in the browser bar and keeps your site secure. Browsers warn people away from sites without it. It's included and set up for you.

Who hosts the site?

We do. Hosting is set up and managed by us and included for the first 12 months, so you don't need to sort out a hosting account.

Can you do email, an online shop, bookings or a logo?

Those aren't part of the standard site. The same goes for photography and ads. Essential SEO is included, but ongoing SEO campaigns and new content are extra. If you need any of these, ask us.

Do I need my own photos and words?

Send what you have: photos of your work, your logo and a bit about what you do. We write the words for your site from that and aim to get them right first time. You can change anything at the preview stage. Professional photography and logo design aren't included.

When do I pay?

Upfront. We send you an invoice you can pay online, and we start work as soon as it's paid.

Do you guarantee first page on Google?

No one can honestly guarantee that. What we do is build your site the way Google and AI search tools expect, so you're starting from a strong position.

What's AEO, and why does it matter?

AEO stands for answer engine optimisation. More people now get answers from ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews and similar tools, not a list of links. We set up your content and business details so these tools can understand what your business does.

I already have a website. Will I lose my Google rankings?

We map your old pages to the new ones with permanent redirects, which helps preserve the SEO value your old site has built. Rankings can still shift during any website move, so we can't promise they'll stay exactly where they are.

How long until I show up in Google?

It varies, and Google decides when and where your pages appear. We submit your sitemap at launch so Google can find your pages. Where you show up depends on your industry, location and competition.

Do you look after my Google Business Profile?

We check that it matches your new website and point it to the right place. You'll need to add us as a Manager on the profile so we can help.

Do you write blog posts?

Blog writing isn't part of the standard build. Get in touch if you'd like ongoing content.
